VoiceAttack Beta v1.6.4.2 released
« on: April 19, 2017, 03:33:33 pm »
Hi, guys.  New beta this evening.  This is part two of the looping updates, and contains a new, 'Repeat x times' feature that acts more like a, 'for' loop (with an optional integer indexer).  You'll find it under the, 'Add a Loop Start' menu item.  Might save you a step here and there.  Also included are some requested tokens.

Beta can be downloaded here:

Zipped version can be downloaded here:

The rollback can be downloaded here:

As always, the release notes are here:

Is the new help doc then updated with v1.6.4 data? The help pdf file is not dated nor does it show a current version or anything indicating that the posted pdf is the most current version. I did check but the document properties is not listing that info.

If so you might want to also show a link to the pdf file, just so folk can keep up.

Nice work! Voice Attack is easy to use and extremely user friendly.

As a non-programmer I have to confess it's hard to understand the advanced features at first since I'm not familiar with the basic concepts. However with a bit of reading plus the added information and good examples on the forums I am 'slowly' getting there.

VoiceAttackHelp.pdf is updated and included with the installer or the zipped version. It's not updated on the website with each beta release, as not all users install that.

There should be a "VoiceAttack Documentation" shortcut in your start menu that'll take you right to it(though you can navigate to your VoiceAttack installation documentary manually and find it in there as well).

Note that there are section on the new tokens, and the new "For" loop, so you can tell by those it's current.
There's also a version number next to the title of the first section(which would be the next release version number and isn't changed for each beta release): "VoiceAttack Quick Start Guide  (v1.6.5+)"

Gary, do note that the VoiceAttackHelp.pdf available through the main page's "Help Documentation" link is for "v1.6+", not "v1.6.2+" as the one for the current release is labeled.
